Wow, two posts in a day. I am sitting in a CAEN lab, thats a computer lab in the U of M and I hear a phone beep like when you receive a message. It went beep-beep-beep-bah-bah-beep-beep-beep. Now I have been learning morse and that sounded like morse. So the beeping became ... -- ...

That in morse stands for SMS. Pretty ingenious eh?
